The best time for realization of the tour is from July 1 till September 10. Date of arrival on a forming group for 2008: July 27. The route is in strength of the beginners, does not require special physical ability. During the tour you will visit unique places of Kamchatka - active volcanoes: Tolbachik, Avachinsky, Mutnovsky and Gorely, which are the most beautiful volcanoes of Kamchatka. You will cross Kamchatka from the South to the North and, moving from one climatic zone to another, you will hit to the Central Kamchatka, in the location of the largest volcanoes of Eurasia. You will visit one of the most interesting places of Kamchatka – the Klyuchevskaya group of volcanoes, in which there is the highest and known volcano – Klyuchevskaya sopka (4750ì)... It is the region of the most intensitive manifestation of volcanism on the territory of Russia. You will make climbing on the most southern volcanoes of the group - volcano Tolbachik Plosky (3085ì), and on the new volcanoes – the cinder cones (299ì and 278ì) of the Northern break of 1975. You will have a walk in “ the Dead forest ”, wiped out during the eruption on a huge territory. You will visit Esso village- the center of the Even region and the national park Bystrinsky, which sometimes called as “Kamchatka Switzerland ”. This is the place of a concentration of traditions of life and household activities of the local population of Kamchatka. You will visit reindeer herds, get acquainted with a nomadic life of reindeer herders of Kamchatka. During the tour, you’ll be able to bathe for several times in hot natural sources and pools with thermal mineral water. You will visit surprising and unique the Valley of Geysers - a miracle of the world. You will have a sea excursion on Avacha bay and the Pacific Ocean. You will admire the largest seabird nest cliffs in Kamchatka. You will raft down the Bystraya river, which passes among majestic mountains of Kamchatka’s Sredinny Range. You will have the possibility of observing the wild nature of Kamchatka: brown bears, salmon spawning in the rivers, birds and wolves. Day 1. Meeting at the airport, transfer to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (20 kms.). Accommodation at the hotel, rest. Day 2. Helicopter excursion to the Valley of Geysers with a fly-around of volcanoes Karimsky (1486ì). And Maly Semyachik (1560ì), excursion by foot in the Valley of Geysers. No one of the unique places can be compared to the uniqueness of the Valley of Geysers – an indisputable Miracle of the world, most precious natural Relic, which is in the inheritance of the mankind. In the Valley there are more than 20 large geysers. The Giant, Pearl, Sugar, Triple, Cone, Fountain, Small, Large, Slot – there are some names. There are some geysers, which fountain each 10-12 minutes, and there are such, that steam once each 4-5 hours. Clubs of vapor, fountains of boiled water, the magnificent colors of slopes, on which hot waters flow, together with bright green of grass and trees create a fairylike show. Dinner at the Valley of Geysers. Return to the hotel. Day 3. Departure on an all-wheel drive vehicle to the region of the Kliychevskoy group of volcanoes (550 kms), located on a high plateau, at the height more than 1000 meters. It is the region of the most intensitive manifestation of volcanism on the territory of Russia. Dinner in Milcovo village. Crossing the Kamchatka River by ferry, the largest river of Kamchatka. Installation of the tent camp not far from Kozyrevsk village. In clear weather from this place the landscape of the highest volcanoes of Kamchatka is opened: Krestovsky (4057ì), Ushkovsky (3903ì)., Klychevskoy (4750ì)., Kamen (4579ì)., Tolbachik Ostry (3082ì), Tolbachik Plosky (3672ì). Night in tents. Day 4. Approaching to the most beautiful volcanic array derivated by the volcanoes Tolbachik Ostry and Tolbachik Plosky. The diameter of the crater of the volcano Tolbachik Plosky is 1800 meters and the depth is 600 meters. All this is the consequence of the famous the Large Break Eruption of Tolbachik volcano in 1975. The moon landscape will make unforgettable impressions. The location of the camp place has a title “ the Base of Lunokhodchikov ”. That was the place of making Tests of the first Soviet machines “Lunokhod - 1” and “Marsokhod-1”. Night in tents. Day 5. Climbing on the top of the volcano Tolbachik Plosky (3085ì) on slag fields and old lava streams, taking 7 - 8 hours, possible for every category of physical ability, but enables to survey all the group of volcanoes Klychevskoy. On the top of the volcano there is a large crater of 1,8 kms wide and the depth of more than 500 meters. Returning to the camp. Night in tents. Day 6. Trip on an all-wheel drive vehicle to the Northern break (18 kms.) Climbing on the New Tolbachik cones representing volcanoes in a miniature, their height is about 100-200 meters. Trip to the Southern break (15 kms.). Visit of the cones of the Southern break. Ash-lava coverage of the field, which is about 1000 square kms. decorates rare variety of lavas of various colors and forms, by the stiffened rivers they flow down into a coniferous-deciduous forest, which was wiped out on huge territory round the cones. This tourist object is known now as “the Dead forest ”. Also in different places here are lava caves (lava passes). The caves are derivated by incandescent gas. Large and extended lava pipes – caves, still wait for the discoveries. Returning to the camp. Night in tents. Day 7. In the morning the transfer to Esso village (150 kms, 5 hours). Accommodation at the Day 8. Flight by the helicopter (1,5 hours) to reindeer herds. Ethnic excursion in herders’ settlement, acquaintance with nomadic life of reindeer herders. Watching the herds of reindeers. It is possible that they catch and slaughter a deer. Returning by helicopter in Esso. Night in the hotel. Day 9. The excursion program. Visit of the Regional museum complex, exhibition of souvenirs. Acquaintance with culture of the local inhabitants of Kamchatka. Night in the hotel. Day 10. Departure on a motor vehicle up to Malki village (400 kms.). Dinner in Malki village. Bathing in pool with thermal water of Malkinskye hot springs. Night on the bank of the river, in tents. Day 11. The beginning of rafting. Rafting passes among majestic mountains of Sredinny Range on the river with some rapids, safe enough for the beginners, and that is more important, the nature is untouched by the civilization. Night in tents. Day 12. Rafting on the Bystraya River, with passing of two rapids. On the way it is possible to fish, to gather mushrooms and berries, to watch seagulls and wild ducks, and if you are lucky - to see a bear and Steller Sea Eagles. All this makes rafting down the river interesting and fascinating. Night in tents. Day 13. Rafting on the Bystraya River, with passing of one rapid. The ending of rafting. Bathe in pool with thermal water on Apachinskye hot springs. Transfer on an all-wheel vehicle to the high-mountainous plateau between Avachinsky and Koryaksky volcanoes (160êì). Accommodation at the tourist camp « The Three volcanoes ». Night in houses. Day 14. Climbing on the Avachinsky volcano (2749ì). Climbing on a young cone of the volcano, from the edge of the volcano a magnificent view opens. In the south you can see Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Elizovo, the valley of the Avacha river and Avacha bay, volcanoes: Vilychinsky, Mutnovsky, Gorely. In the west - the massive cone of Koryaksky volcano. In the north –the valley of the river Nalycheva and volcanoes Zhupanovsky and Dzendzur. In case of difficulty, probably, returning back to the camp. Climbing lasts for 6-8 hours. Rest. Night in houses. Day 15. Trip on an all-wheel drive vehicle to Mutnovsky volcano (100 kms). Accommodation at the Mutnovsky Geothermal Station, in the hotel. Excursion walk (2 hours) to the group of hot springs "Dachnye". Day 16. Ascent to the crater of Mutnovsky volcano (2323ì). Survey of active fumaroles, siphons of mud, mountain lake. The crater of Mutnovsky volcano – is the one of the magnificent volcanic phenomena of Kamchatka. The steep walls enclose a broad and deep hollow of the crater with brilliant glaciers shattered cracks and boiling fumaroles. (The climbing lasts for 8 hours). In case of difficulty, probably, returning back to the camp. Night in tents. Day 17. Climbing on Gorely volcano (1829ì), passing on the lava stream, slag fields, survey of 8 craters with small lakes (excursion lasts for 6 hours). In the evening transfer on an all-wheel vehicle to the hotel, in Petropavlovsk (100 kms.). Accommodation at the hotel, rest. Day 18. Sea-trip along Avachinskaya bay. Watching of sea birds nests of an island “Babushkin Kamen”, “The Three brothers”rocks. Coming out to the Pacific Ocean up to the “Starichkov” island. Watching of the largest place of sea birds’ nests on Kamchatka (including Steller Sea Eagle). Probably to meet dolphins, sea lions, Orca whales, there is a lot of in local waters. In the evening meeting in “the yurt” at the local farmer, the unique person Alexander Yastrebov, taste of dishes of local plants. The concert program on the coast of a picturesque lake, the legends, fairy tales. Returning to the hotel. Day 19. Excursion in the city. Visit of the State Regional Museum. Visit of the fish market.
