The best time for realization of the tour is from July 1 till September 10. Date of arrival on a forming group for 2008: July 9, August 5. The tour is in strength of tourists with medium physical ability: approximately 6 hours per day with a rucksack of 10-15 kg weight. The tour passes on the territory of Kronotsky State Natural Biosphere Preserve, where there is the largest population of brown bears in the world in wild nature, and the high number of animals kept among the savagery of the nature. During the tour you will visit one of the brightest places of Kamchatka - Burlyashy active volcano, the Uzon Volcano caldera. You will visit surprising and unique the Valley of Geysers - a miracle of the world and you will have a walk there. These natural geothermal systems of Kamchatka, having the global popularity, are kept till now almost untouched. During flights by helicopter you will see volcanoes and wild nature of Kamchatka from height. Day 1. Meeting at the airport, transfer to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (20 kms.). Accommodation at the hotel, rest. Day 2. Flight by helicopter to Kronotsky Biosphere Preserve, to the Burlyashy volcano caldera (1,5 hours). During the flight you will see Avachinsky, Koryaksky, Zhupanovsky volcanoes, and an acid turquoise lake, in the crater of Maly Semyachik volcano. Installation of a camp. Walk to hot springs. Night in tents. Day 3. Excursion walk to the Burlyashy volcano caldera (5 - 6 hours), to hot springs, fumaroles, microgeysers and boiling mud. Bathing in natural hot springs. It is possible to see bears. Night in tents. Days 4-5. Trip by foot to the Valley of Geysers (25 kms). During the route you can observe the rich flora and fauna of the preserve. Arrival to the stream «Glukhoy», rest. Accommodation and night in a house. Day 6. Trip by foot (9 kms.) and excursion in the Valley of Geysers. Watching of boiling mud, fumaroles, and more than 20 large geysers. In the evening returning back (9 kms.) to the camp. Night in a house. Day 7. Excursion walk (12 kms.) in the Uzon Volcano caldera, to hydrosulfuric lakes across picturesque, multi-colored tundras, where it will be possible to observe bears eating berries. In the evening returning to the camp. Night in a house. Day 8. Excursion walk (6 kms.) in the Uzon Volcano caldera to mud boilers and mud volcanoes. Rest. Day 9. Trip by foot on high-mountainous Alpine meadows (16 kms.), through the tract «Dark blue Dale » to the high of the Taunshints river, to the bottom of Taunshints volcano. Night in tents. Day 10. Returning by helicopter to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. On the way watching of Karimsky volcano, which is the one of the most active volcanoes of Kamchatka. Accommodation at the hotel, rest. Day 11. Sea-trip along Avachinskaya bay. Watching of sea birds nests of an island “Babushkin Kamen”, “The Three brothers”rocks. Coming out to the Pacific Ocean up to the “Starichkov” island. Watching of the largest place of sea birds’ nests on Kamchatka (including Steller Sea Eagle). Probably meeting of dolphins, sea lions, Orca whales, there is a lot in local waters. In the evening meeting in “the yurt” at the local farmer, the unique person Alexander Yastrebov, taste of dishes of local plants. The concert program on the coast of a picturesque lake, the legends, fairy tales. Returning to the hotel. Day 12. Excursion in the city. Visit of the State Regional Museum. Visit of the fish market.
